Special Numbers

Every number is special... Well, at least the ones at this website are. The list starts at 1 and goes to 9999 and many of the numbers have links for further reading. It's cool stuff.

A sampling:
27 is the largest number that is the sum of the digits of its cube.
28 is the 2nd perfect number.
29 is the 7th Lucas number.
30 is the largest number with the property that all smaller numbers relatively prime to it are prime.
31 is a Mersenne prime.
32 is the smallest 5th power (besides 1).
