More Pharmas Gone Wild

Some more reading about our ineffectual FDA and how Pharmas make sure they can sell their drugs (never forget, that's why they exists) from the NY Times:

1. The FDA has issued a strong warning against two Type II diabetes drugs, Actos and Avandia. They have been linked to serious heart related risks.

2. GlaxoSmithKline threatened a researcher who questioned the safety of Avandia.
