Snow Beast Sighting, Feb 08

This morning we had a rare chance to enjoy some snow before I had to head out to school. Some pics from the snowy morning are below.

Lady's Sunday Walk

We took a nice walk in the wind this morning.

Sunday Walk

It was 22 degrees Farenhight when we took our walk this morning. With the windchill, it was around 10 (or lower). Lady loves this weather and was very excited to go out:

Whenever we stop for a red light, she stands with her nose to the wind:

We saw, and chased, some birds:

And we saw some squirrels eating nuts:

We made it to the brushing stop:

And I don't know who's dog this is, but it looks like she's bad with rules:

Amazon Gift Wrapping

I bought Stuart a scanner for Christmas. It's OK that I'm writing what it is before Christmas because, despite selecting the gift options meant to ensure that a detailed invoice doesn't go to the gift recipient (and yes, I know how to use Amazon), the wrapped gift came with a receipt detailing the price and item. Also, check out the awesome wrapping job Amazon did for this special time of year:

Saturday Dog Brushing

It's incredibly warm here in NYC. The big furry dog (Lady, not Stuart, though he feels the same way) and I are ready for some cooler Fall weather. Thinking there'd be a breeze, we went down by the river for our morning walk. It was pretty much just warm and sunny.

Still, it was nice. We found a bit of shade to sit in while I brushed her. Bucket loads of people are out taking in the day. Of course I took some photos. I thought I had some nice scenery shots (well, nice for a point and shoot), but my lens is dusty and I won't be posting them :(
