Saved From Hell

CNN reports that all but one of the 49 dogs seized from Michael Vick will be rehabilitated or placed with families.

And no NFL fans, that doesn't serve as evidence of benign activities at the Vick residence. It's likely that these dogs were taught to obey and fear humans.

My dog is a rescue. When we adopted her she was frightened of men and
seemed to expect us to hit her. She also came trained, recognizing many verbal commands. A dog from a bad situation doesn't necessarily come out of it with aggression toward humans.

I hope the Vick dogs know nothing but comfort and a good family life from here on.
