The fight over ENDA continues. Gay City News has great coverage of the latest events. Pam has a good posts up as well.

One thing I'm taking away from this fight is the discouraging reality that, to forward what they see as the correct strategy, politicians and political animals will very quickly resort to tactics usually condemned by progressives. There's an ongoing attempt to characterize the overwhelming numbers of LGBT people crying out against a discriminatory ENDA as a fringe or far-left element. It's sad to see. It's very close to a right-wing talking head claiming, despite polling clearly indicating the contrary, that only radical leftists oppose the Iraq war.

Progressive should be better than this.
