Friday Dump

It's Friday. Some miscellany:

A lottery simulator. It's good and depressing all at once. I simulated 3,000 quickpick drawings and only matched 4 of 6 numbers once. No higher matches occurred. I simulated 3000 drawings using my "favorite" numbers and also matched 4 of 6 numbers only once. Of course, 3000 isn't a large number of drawings when you have 50 numbers and 6 slots and your odds of winning (with no repeats) are 1 in 50x49x48x47x46x45!
