In the following video Mitt visits a down-home diner and talks down to someone with real healthcare problems. He explains to a waitress and mother of three sick children that, while Governor of Massachusetts, his state found that it was just too expensive to provide healthcare to its citizens. Compassionate conservatism indeed.
The money quote for me is near the end of the video. The mother/waitress says approximately, "He's been in here for what? Over an hour? Now, that's money off my plate."
