Some Sex Illegal in Utah and Staying that Way
The Utah state legislature, headed by Senate Majority Leader Curt Bramble (R), refused to consider debate or public hearing on repealing the state's sodomy laws that outlaw sodomy (sodomy includes oral sex) for all but married opposite-sex couples. This is despite the US Supreme Court's 2003 ruling in Lawrence vs. Texas that states cannot make laws governing the sex people have in private.
I guess privacy and Supreme Court rulings only apply to straight married people. I'll remember this the next time some fundy tells me the government is out to run my life.
