Scotland Looking for Gay Bloggers, er, Loggers
Some things I just could never expect to read about. I love the internets. From the article:
The Forestry Commission in Scotland are setting up the £30,000-a year post to increase diversity and encourage minority groups into the traditionally masculine work.
...
A spokeswoman for the commission said: "We want to make the workforce as diverse as possible, to develop a diversity strategy for the whole of the organisation.
...
The successful candidate will be expected to launch a training programme to ensure equal opportunities and will be granted a final salary pension and 25 days holiday per year.
The diversity manager will also get a company bicycle, mobile phone, childcare vouchers, subsidised healthcare and discounts in a range of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.
