What a Week
Dems took the house and senate. A few too many anti-civil rights measures passed. South Dakota exhibited some sanity on a woman's right to choose as did Arizona on gay marriage. Some of the worst senators are now history (bye, bye man-on-dog Santorum and Macaca Allen). Rummy is gone. So much more happened too. I really wouldn't have seriously predicted both the house and senate. I'm glad my cynical side was wrong.
I just finished a big week. I gave a talk today and submitted a big (for me) grant on Tuesday night. I am so beat. I'm travelling to Philly tomorrow night to see a friend. It should be fun. I hope to get some pictures and a run in. I used to love running there when I lived in Center City.
