A Few Crazy Days

This past week has been one of my busiest in a while. It's been great, but I'm beat.

Yesterday I took a break and helped my best friend evaluate potential living areas in sub-neighborhoods of the Upper East Side (where I live). You can get a good impression of a neighborhood by leisurely visiting it on foot a few times. During an apartment viewing I'm usually too concerned with logistics to take in the surrounding neighborhood.

We ended our walking tour with a stroll in Carl Shurz Park. I run through there regularly. It's a nice place with pretty views of the East River:
